Clink Different Restaurant Week is part of a national campaign featuring top restaurants and wine bars in four major markets – Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, and Miami. This joint promotion celebrates the wines of Bordeaux and Germany during the month of October as restaurants across the country collectively feature bottles from both Bordeaux and Germany by the glass.

Consumers will hear about your restaurant through Clink Different’s partnership with Edible Magazine. All participating restaurants will be:
- Mentioned in featured digital article in your market’s local Edible magazine
- Listed in newsletter to local Edible magazine readers
- Tagged in local Edible magazine social media content

INCENTIVES & EDUCATION

Each participating restaurant will receive:
• Stipend for program participation
• Educational materials for restaurant staff & guests
• Opportunity to participate in an in-person, sommelier-led staff training and kick-off event

HOW CAN YOUR RESTAURANT PARTICIPATE?
REQUIREMENTS
• Two wines offered by the glass: 1 German wine & 1 Bordeaux wine (for the full month of October)
• Create dedicated space on the menu or create an additional menu that specifically highlights your featured wines
• Attend local in-person training in September (virtual training available for those who cannot attend)
• Complete a survey at the end of the promotion
OPPORTUNITIES TO BE CREATIVE
PAIRING EXPERIENCE
Interact directly with the guests to customize a wine pairing specific to their dinner, such as one wine from each region per course.
TASTING FLIGHT
Expand your guests’ experience by showcasing a larger range of styles from both regions in 1 oz pours.
CHEF’S MENU
Collaborate with your chef to include food selections with your wines by the glass for a more comprehensive tasting menu.
DEDICATED EVENTS
Host dedicated events highlighting the promotion.
LARGE FORMAT
Create a “wow” effect by serving the wines tableside from magnums.
