California
L.A. Times Food Bowl
For the second year in a row, Clink Different joined over 100 local restaurants, wineries and chef presentations on the Paramount Pictures backlot for the L.A. Times Food Bowl in September. More than 6,000 attendees had the chance to taste our lineup of luscious German reds, crisp Bordeaux whites and tantalizing sparkling wines (both Crémant and Sekt)!
With a changing lineup of food vendors each day, the three-day festival was a culinary adventure of flavor and culture. Clink Different poured eight wines to pair with the local cuisine.
From the decadent seafood dishes inspired by flavors from coastal Mexico to comfort classics like smashburgers and hot honey pepperoni pizza, these bottles from Bordeaux and Germany paired with every featured dish, and they’re sure to shine alongside whatever you’re craving at home:

Austin Food & Wine Festival
In November, Clink Different participated in the Austin Food & Wine Festival, held from Saturday, November 2 to Sunday, November 3. The festival was a vibrant celebration of food and wine, featuring delicious bites and drinks from local chefs and restaurants, as well as cooking and wine-tasting demonstrations from both local talent and visiting chefs and sommeliers.
Clink Different delighted the over 6,000 festival attendees with a curated selection of six unique wines from Germany and Bordeaux, offering a diverse range of varieties and styles for consumers to explore:

Clink Different also hosted a Wine Tasting Session on Sunday, led by Austin native Alicia Schmidt, Advanced Sommelier and Wine Director for Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, which operates popular restaurants across central Texas. During the session, attendees had the opportunity to sample a selection of four wines—two from Bordeaux and two from Germany:

Savor SoFLO
Held in May, Savor SoFLO was Clink Different’s first festival of 2024! Culinary-inspired attendees had the chance to enjoy eight unique wines from Germany and Bordeaux, along with creations from local chef ‘rock stars’ with views of the ocean from the breathtaking Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. At Savor SoFLO, Clink Different poured:

Heritage Fire Tour Across CA, TX & FL
The Heritage Fire Tour brings live-fire cooking events across the country, enhancing awareness of heritage breed livestock and heirloom produce. The feasts of thoughtful bites prepared by renowned local kitchens—made with products from locally-sourced farms and partners—paired perfectly with Clink Different’s sustainable German and Bordeaux wine selections.
Clink Different was a sponsor at three Heritage Fire events in Los Angeles, Austin and Miami, where local chefs whipped up some seriously scrumptious dishes to pair with our stellar list of wines.
Take some inspiration from our curated pairings and reimagine them at home:
- Scallop & Pork Belly Yakitori (Japanese Skewered Meat) with a Charred Allium Tare (charred onions, garlic and shallots in a sweet, umami sauce)
